| In addition to pharmaceutical intermediates, Daikin Chemicals deals with products including agrochemical intermediates, polymer crosslinking agencts, surface treatment agents, functional pigments and specific solvents. Daikin's proprietary technologies are: selective fluorination using highly toxic hydrogen fluoride {HF}, sulfur tetrafluoride{SF4}, fluorine{F2}, iodine pentafluoride{IF5}; supply of its in-house developed reagents such as MEC-31 and MEC-21, and fluorination and trifluoromethylation using these reagents; production of aliphatic building block using ethylene tetrafluoride, oxetane tetrafluoride, propylene hexafluoride, and Rf compounds. Daikin's manufacturing facilities and system allows production of small to commercial-scale quantities. |
